I've liked most of it so far, but every time i try to set an alarm for an appointment, the calendar program freezes, and eventually dies, to where it won't even open again. so... watch out for that one, is, i guess the point of my message...

The reason it hangs is that it is trying to set an event via the at command for atd (Not that this is a good excuse). I installed at/atd from the Debian repository (And libpam-- a dependency) and now I can set alarms without having it hang. It only worked once, to the point where atd had a corresponding entry for the alarm set. Atd failed to show the alarm because the qpe-notify program doesn't exist on the device. I tried having atd do other things but never got it to work, despite having the events listed in its queue and atd running.
