View Full Version : No more FM radio?

Did they remove the FM radio? I can find no information confirming or denying this. They seemed to clearly not think it was a good idea in the N800, so did they leave it out for real in the N810? I love having a radio in my N800, and it will definitely give me pause (in potentially buying it) if it's gone. (Along with the smaller storage capacity).

I second that question, FM radio receiver would be VEY important for me.
But, even weirder: IN this Slashdot article, they mention an FM TRANSMITTER, although collecting every bit of information over the last 24 hours, I did not find this mentioned anywhere else:

Wasn't FM listed in the FCC info? I'd have to look it up...

The FM Transmitter was listed on LinuxDevices.com ; Looks like it just a standard Nokia Add-on not something built into the N810

Toughtfix went on live video chat yesterday and he did confirm Fm is not present anymore for the n810
(maybe it was hidden again ?)

I think I read somewhere that it was removed for save space....
