I have test requests for the following sites. I want to bang them all out at once if at all possible:
Google Docs
Google Calendar
Meebo
flashearth.com
pandora
Add more and I'll put them on my to-do.

FANTASTIC! I've been wishing for this ever since I learned about the N800!
http://www.papervision3d.org/demos/panorama/
This is a flash 3D (papervision3D API) test of a panorama. I'm interested to see if it runs and its performance characteristics. I'm not expecting much, but it'll reveal interesting facts about flash performance (especially in 3D). It's a full-screen affair.

Didin't work... N800 browser just closes (crashes?)
I don't think there is much chance to work... in Windows PC in Explorer it uses 255MB of system memory and 80-100% of CPU time!

Hi,
Can someone PLEASE try crunchyroll.com?? I would really appreciate it if you could go the the website and just try to play ANY video. Thanks. Also, I've notcied that some people have tried myspace and it load alright, (depending on the profile) but you know how theres a music played in some of the profile right?? Does the music play fine?? Or is it like you cant even hear it at all?? Thanks in advance again.

Thank for the test!
Was tested with Opera? I've noticed problems with the Opera browser and Flash on my linux box, so I'm not sure if this is a memory issue.
I'd still be interested to see if this works using the N810 standard browser, microB.
Perhaps the following link will work:
http://www.papervision3d.org/demos/seahorse/
It is also 3D, but has fewer textures, so should use less memory.

That was tested on N800 with OS2008. (So it has only MicroB.)
The Seahorse did work. It refreshes about 1FPS...

I'm no myspace or crunchyroll person... did try crunchyroll, but it will not allow to play any video unless you register and log in... :(

Ah. Thanks, Mara!
Good to know. In time, I suppose this performance will improve!

Here are some more!
Zoho Office Suite (http://zoho.com)
This is an online office suite with many productivity apps. It's all Web 2.0 stuff, so I assume it would work, but I'm curious about the more common productivity apps (word processor, spreadsheet, presenter, planner, etc). It requires registration, but the one account should allow you to navigate between apps with ease.
fauxto (http://www.fauxto.com)
This is a raster editor done in flash. I'm curious if this even runs on the N8xx tablet. Even if you don't have a tablet, you should check it out. You can do some pretty good graphic manipulation with this online app! No downloads, no installs! AJAX eat your heart out....

Very cool animation! I remember seeing cartoon versions of this, but this one is very realistic. The only thing she requires is sleep. Her eyes are bloodshot. :D

Hopefully. My main concerns is the 1) performance, and 2) memory.
This site looks as if it's developed in flex (with a skin), which isn't exactly known for its compactness. On my 1GHz Athalon, the site, while usable, isn't the most responsive, and my firefox RESIDENT memory usage is beyond the 128MB in the N810.
Of course, the microB browser is likely much leaner, so the jury's still out.
I would like to know if this works as well!

After starting a fresh firefox session and comparing the before/after memory statistics. It seems that with the loading of chime.tv has increased memory consumption by ~30MB including loading a video.
This is a tall order considering that memory on the N810 is split many ways, but depending on how 'light' the other software is, may be able to fit.
So, the question begs: can it be run on the N810?
I'm eager to find out!
Great link, kingka!

Does Flash support use of the webcam now?
That would allow Flash-based video chat sites to work. My N800 doesn't.
Here's a few sites that provide a test page:
http://www.avchat.net/demos/video_profiler/lfvp-demo-window.php (the best one for testing)

Even if you don't check them all, I'm sure we all appreciate the effort!
Thanks!

Thoughpix can you please check if N810 supports Unicode and display correctly Vietnamese characters like the picture below. Yes or No answer is enough, thanks in advance.

you will need to install vietnamese fonts first. After that it works just fine. (just like chinese, japanese and whatnot).

Not working in OS2008 / N800. Flash still does not get any image from the built-in webcam.

It worked fairly well on the N800 with OS2008.
I was of course not fluid and took some time to load, but worked.
I could use the fingers to move around and tapping would show the wireframes.
I will try the seahorse.
Works too. Slow (few FPS both), but works.
Slow because there is no 3D support yet in out tablets, so it's all software.
EDIT: sorry, I was reading the thread from the beginning and didn't notice other replies...

That`s amazing news!
FYI, 3D in flash is never accelerated, and done all in software. This *may* change with Flash 10 (due out soon).
Thanks for the tests! It`s inspiring news!

Safari Books Online (http://www.safaribooksonline.com/index.php) (uses Flash). Unless you have one of their affiliates books available to register, you'd have to sign up for the free trial. If that would be too troublesome, I can wait until I (eventually) get my tablet to test it.
edit: I just got Learning Python (the new 3rd edition), is why I am curious
