N800 faceplate source?

My wife bounced the N800 off the parkinglot! :mad:

Luckily, after following Thoughtfix's video on taking it apart, the camera is now back functional and the faceplate is back on. Sorta. The unit hit the ground on the corner by the camera, and it looks like the face is crunched/warped/something, because if just doesn't sit right, and has a bad case of 'road rash'. I can live with it like this, as it works, but it looks so sad...

Any place that sells replacement faceplates? I can't find any, but I figure that someone here will have a source! (I'm hoping, anyway).

Not seen any.. But you could make someone airbrush or lacker your faceplate before mounting it.

I am thinking of it myself to get it painted black with a linux penguin instead of the Nokia N800 text that is printed on the facecover

There's already info about this in the forum (if you search): At least in Europe (other countries upon request by eMail) you can buy faceplates here: http://www.handyersatzteilshop.de (as I did). Just type "n800" into "Artikelsuche" (means "product search"), then go through the pages. There is a lot more for the n800 than just facesplates. They have phone support in English. I've received my replacement faceplate a few days after ordering.
