Python 2.5 Please Help

I just got my N800 the other day and I'm trying to install Python 2.5.

My N800 is fresh out of the box with the latest OS2007 on it.

I want to put UKMP and a few other apps on it, so I need Python 2.5

When I try to install it I get the following message:

Unable to install python 2.5 runtime
Application package missing:

libncurses5(>=5.4-1)
libreadline4(>=4.3-1)


How do I go about fixing this so I can install Python 2.5?

I'm a newbie here and searched the forums and couldn't find the answer.

Other than this issue, I love this little gadget!!!

Please Help ASAP!

harvwallbanger im in the same boat as u were: brand new n800 and im trying to install new apps (ukmp) which needs python 2.5 but it fails when I install it. Please help me!! start from scratch

What do you mean "fails"? What error message do you get?
If it's "installation file corrupted", lots of people are getting it at the moment. We are looking for a solution in this topic: http://www.internettablettalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9622
