Can't download USA maps

Am I the only one that cannot download the USA maps? I downloaded the Canada maps so I know it is possible to get some maps. I have attempted to download the USA west map at least 20 times. I've watched my firewall (firestarter) to check for blocked traffic and nothing pops up.

Am I the only one?

Is there a way to manually download with a resumable tool then copy the map files?

Anybody want to generously re-host the map files? (that might be a licensing no-no though so don't if the legality is questionable).

You don't say what error you are getting.

I also had problems downloading the usa maps at first and I was getting a failed to download message. The real problem was a lack of space where the maps where downloading to.
