Can anyone confirm whether the N810 is running the Flash 9 update with the h.264 support? Note, I'm not talking about N810 support for h.264, but the Flash update that supports it. Does this run on N810??

How would you be able to tell? Do you have a link for a test page?

Try http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_15507 (Adobe version test), I got "LNX 9,0,31,17" (OS2007).

Thanks but that link doesn't tell you if the N8x0 version of Flash 9 supports h.264 streaming, which is what the OP is asking... :)

From Adobe Labs about Flash update 3:
A prerelease build of Flash Player 9 Update is available. The version for Macintosh is 9.0.98.0 (9.0.97 PPC-Universal Binary). The Windows and Linux downloads are still 9.0.64.0.
The latest released (non-beta) Linux player on Adobe site seems to be Version: 9,0,48,0.

It seems that a large part of the flash rendering system is done in software, and you need quite high system specs to view anything larger than a youtube video. Even if the H.264 codec was supported, it's probable that the (so called HD) video's that use it would be too resource heavy to be reasonably played on the N8xx.
Of course, this is pure speculation and I could be wrong.... :)

I know, but at least we can see, which version of the flash-plugin is bundled with OS2008.
If you could provide a link to a page where it is stated, what functions a flash-plugin supports .... :)
