OS2008 BETA on N800 experiences

Pros: Looks slick, feels faster, and the fonts look more readable. Love the new finger menu system. Can brows smb shares in the file browser right out of the box.


Cons: Web browser crashes consistently when trying to load ITT and browse maemo.org :( Already had image view and web browser lock up requiring forced exit. Gmail loads slowly.


Any else have anything to report?

Thanks for starting yet another thread about OS2008 on N800. I'm sure yours will be much better than the other 20 or so.

I just flashed the new OS2008 Beta.

I noticed that when I'm trying to download Maps of Canada, it stops in midstream and states it can't download the Maps.

Also the same thing happens with Skype, it can't download.

This is what I have found till now.
