moving home screen applets

Is it just me, or does anyone else have problems moving their home screen applets in 2008? I can resize them easily enough, but I can't figure out where to click/drag to move the damn things. They only seem to move when I don't want them to.

Apart from that, I've had no problems with 2008 (so far)

Mine seem to move just fine.

The problem is that as soon as I display another app on top of them, they dissappear for good. Once all apps are closed, all the home screen applets are gone, and have to be reticked in the Select applets... screen
