N810 Software Update Down LD Speed

Guys:

I have tried 3 different locations including my office and the dedicated T3 and I'm getting a 7 to 8 hour download for the .19 file. This is from the dev-nokia site. Anywhere else I can find it? That length of time is crazy.

I'm having the same problem. And if you try to do it with the Update Wizard it says the file can't be found.

Pirate bay has: RX-34_2008SE_1.2007.44-4_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin

Nokia download is: RX-44_2008SE_1.2007.42-19_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin

And yes - I'm getting 6.6k on my 3rd attempt. They must be hosting it on a dialup line in rural finland....

The RX-44_2008SE_1.2007.42-19_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin is for the 810. The RX-34_2008SE_1.2007.44-4_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin is for the n800 (both are on the nokia site.)

Note: the nokia site normally is capable of around 300kpbs ... but they are under a load like you wouldn't believe. I'm running from the RX-34_2008SE_1.2007.44-4_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin on my n800 and in general... loving. it.

if they can't handle the user hits on the file download, then they should switch to torrent themselves.

Anyone having a better luck? Find another safe place to get version .19?

The download wizard still says no file up date available. This is frustrating.
