I just got my N810 and really like it for the short time I have used it. One odd thing happened - the default setup has an applet display for the OS2008 site (called the Tableteer applet). It originally had the OS2008 graphic on the applet but now it is just a white square. If I click it it still works (goes to the Nokia OS 2008 web site). I know this is not a major problem, but it concerns me a bit when something unexplained happens that I cannot fix.

Thanks

I have the same "problem". I turned off the Tableteer applet and chose "Web Shortcut" which links to OS2008 user site. No big deal. I seems to have happened after I updated to .19. Did you update?

fwiw, this has happened on 3 n800's that I updated to 2008 as well.

1. Download and save the attached GIF file that I ganked from Nokia's site.

2. Copy it to your devices "images" directory.

3. From your home screen tap the "home" bar at the top of the screen.

4. Go to "Applet settings" > "Web shortcut" and the configuration menu pops up.

5. Highlight Image and select browse.

6. Chose the newly created GIF file from the "Images" directory.

7. Rock on :)

BTW, while your in the configuration pop-up you may want to try hitting the drop down arrow for the images field and see if "Tableteer" is in there. If it is, try that first. This setting may have been scrambled with the upgrade and it is just a matter of re-setting it.

I did not update and am still on .18

I just unselected Tableteer and selected Web Shortcut as you suggested.

Thanks
