So in os2008, if you install an app into a category and then want to change it to a different one, can it be done? I went to Control Panel>Panels and then Applications>Organize, but it doesn't seem to let you move apps, just Create, Delete or Rename categories. Am I in dummy mode here?
Tried Dragging and Dropping items?

These can be edited in the control panel under Personalization->Panels.

It should work.
I just tried on mine, and it works fine...
When in doubt, reboot...

instead of dragging and dropping really quick
try holding the initial tap for about a second and then dragging
there's a bit of a delay
it's like moving the pods around on your desktop

how do I delete the items I don't want there. Some of the items are greyed out when I try to hit the delete button

I seem to recall someone saying you could drag them off the menu and they would disappear, but that never worked for me.
I usually end up deleting the appropriate .desktop file from /usr/share/applications/hildon/ if uninstalling the application doesn't delete the icons.
