View Full Version : [Canola] Canola doesn't start -- where to look ?
Well, I've finally succeeded (I think) in installing Canola2 on my N800 (latest OS2007, not 2008), as the repo issue is clearing up.
However, when I try to run it, I only see the "Lauching Canola" banner spinning for a while, then nothing. Same after reboot.
Where or what should I look at to try to resolve this ? Anybody else have this ?...

If you can run it from xterm (just 'canola'), that might give you some indication of what's wrong. If you want to post the results from there, I could try to help you figure it out.

setup_dot_canola()
File "/usr/bin/canola", line 125, in setup_dot_canola
check_prefs(prefs_path)
File "/usr/bin/canola", line 99, in check_prefs
canola_prefs = PluginPrefs("settings")
File "/plugin_prefs.py", line 32, in __init__
File "/plugin_prefs.py", line 41, in _load
