libnet1 for os2008?

I am trying to install ettercap to os2008 to my n800 i am missing a lib file libnet1 and i could not find it in the repositories can anyone help on this matter?

Do you try to install it from my repo?

If yes, retry now. I had indeed forgotten libnet1... :o


By the way, I'm not really sure if ettercap will work on the device.

i tried to install ettercap from your rep, it says file is corrupted i guess it is because the softawre can not be run in os2008

I just checked that it installs and starts. After 10 seconds, I stopped it and when onto another package.
This is one of these packages which I will not be able to test easily. I only played with ettercap on wires, quite impressive.

I have actually tried to install ettercap from your repositories in the last few days and I have had the same problems that the other poster is having.

It just starts Downloading and crashes and says unable to install ettercap.

I have managed to get everything from aircrack and Dsniff Nmap to metasploit and just about every pen testing app going on my N810 but I cannot get Ettercap working and it is frustrating me because I have everything else people seem to have trouble with and it all worked fine I get to an app with easy installs and it doesn't work lol. I was gonna work on porting it myself but everyone else seems to have the least amount of trouble with this app lol anyone else got a Repository or a Deb file before I give up and work on port myself?

after navigating to the site with the browser it seems everything is in order but the libnet1 is not compatible I guess this is the same thing that the other poster had duh well I will look around and maybe try to port this myself.

I got this working thx Free for the files.

I had to drop into redpill mode to get libnet1 I installed dropped back into bluepill mode and ran the ettercap installer and it worked.
