I don't see the need for a scaled-down version of Google when I get the full Google experience off my NiT ;)
Still, it might be useful for people who just need something less heavy (for data consumption management). Sadly, since our browsers identify themselves as Firefox on Linux, it's unlikely that we're going to get browser auto-detection, in case anyone's wondering :)

Just override the "auto-detection".
The new & improved igoogle.com (for iphone) is a great if you need speed and useabiliy improvements.

Here's how I use my N800:
Google Docs for document and spreadsheet creation
GoogleTalk for VoIP and IM
Gmail for email
Blogger for blogging
Now all I need is a BT keyboard and I'm all set :)
Now why would I want a crippled experience again? :D

Bah.
Well, at least we can hook up a BT keyboard and work on documents online without having to resort to a virtual keypad. Let's see if the iPhone will pair with a BT keyboard :D
