Hi,
I noticed that this forum doesn't have the right time zone for Venezuela. It was changed by December from GMT -4:00 to GMT -4:30. Please Admin, update it.
I noticed too, that our Nokia Devices doesn't have the time zone data base updated. I did it by hand but I can't do it with the forum in the same way ;)

Taguapire

Hi,
Just download the zone info database from the main site, then upload the file for your region. Then run 'zic namefile.ext' from your Nokia device. Your timezone database will be updated with latest timezone info.

Taguapire.

Hi,
you can download the file via wget @ ftp://elsie.nci.nih.gov/pub/tzdata2007k.tar.gz
Then run following commands:
mkdir tzdata; tar -xvzf tzdata2007k.tar.gz -C tzdata
cd tzdata; sudo zic your_region

This procedure is only for UNIX, (Linux, BSD, etc.), based systems. You can't execute any command on your Symbian based phone because it uses other time zone system, very different from UNIX.

Just a note. Current file name is not 2007k but 2008b
