Anyone else experience this?

I'm logged onto a visitor network with my Nokia (N800)

They use a RADIUS server and I was given a user/password.. so when I attempt to connect to www.google.com for example, it redirects me to a login page before it allows me to move on into the web.

Well they are apparantly using an older version of SSL on this page and my Nokia will not let me connect. I receive:

---------------------------------------------------------------
An error occurred during a connection to xxx.xx.xxx.xx. Can't connect securely because the site uses an older, insecure version of the SSL protocol.
(ssl_error_ssl2_disabled)

Unable to display page. Invalid or unsupported security protocol.
----------------------------------------------------------------

Has anyone seen this before? Is there a way to alter the ssl_error_ssl2_disabled variable or any settings somewhere I can change that will allow me to connect to older versions of SSL?

This is really a bummer otherwise.

SSL2 is disabled by default in Opera/MicroB (and also most desktop browsers such as IE and Firefox) as it's widely known to be insecure and it's continued use places the users data at risk.

You have two options:

1) Contact the site admin and tell him to get his act together and add support for SSL3 pronto - the site can still support SSL2, but by adding SSL3 those browsers lacking SSL2 support will be able to connect using SSL3 and only really old browsers without SSL3 support will use SSL2

or more realistically

2) Go into the browser, open Tools -> Settings... and on the Security & Privacy tab tick the "Enable SSL2" checbox. Note that by doing so you place yourself at risk of using SSL2 with other websites that don't support SSL3 unless you disable it again.

Unfortunately this didn't work for me.

I start having this problem after flashing the new bin released awhile ago.
