What's the applet with the shortcuts on it like vagalume, xterm, etc.. on it?

It is called "simple launcher". Latest version is 0.9.5 for OS2007, in the "extras" repository for "bora". It works on OS2008, although it doesn't do transparency yet as you can see on the pix... very useful though !

How did you get the picture on there? Is it the Web Shortcut Applet? If it is what size did you resize that image to to make it fit? Thanks!

Yes, it's a pic of my kids in the Web shortcut applet.

But I didn't resize it, it's the other way around : if you look closely, you'll see that the picture is displayed in full on the 770 and N800. On the N810 (or in OS2008) the applet size has stayed the same and the picture is cropped. Haven't found a way to resize the applet frame yet...
