Hello,

I've just discovered how good the plucker file format is on my 770 with FBreader. (for example to read : http://downloads.kernelconcepts.de/books/AliceInWonderland.pdb )

As I write myself, I want to make somes of my textes available in this format. But I have no idea how to do that.

I don't understand anything about plucker-desktop. It seems to retrieve website for offline use but I don't want to do that, I want to convert a simple document with simple formatting and, perhaps, one or two pictures.

Abiword and OpenOffice export to pdb seem to be palm doc export and not plucker (altought I don't understand the difference) and don't work. (they both freeze the application)

Anyone can help me to make my own pdb ?

Plucker desktop can 'retrieve' file too, just point it to local file instead of website. You can also use Jpluck http://jpluck.sourceforge.net or Sunrise (same author).

As for pdb it is just generic container format, every palm program has data in pdb file so the difference is big. pdb just means 'palm database' so what's inside depends on specific palm program.
