Calender alarm

I downloaded the PIM suite and it all seems to work.
BUT
when setting an alarm in Calender, say 15 mins before the event, nothing happens. No beep, no activation of the screen etc
I am aware the tablet must be powered up as there is no alarm power up. but if the thing is powered up (but the screen is simply turned off after it's turn off setting) I would have expected the system to turn ON the screen and give and audible warning, or something
Am I expecting too much? :rolleyes:

There's currently no system framework for scheduled events.

Nokia are working on it (from a thread on maemo-developers where they asked for feedback): hopefully we'll see it in the 2006 OS.
