Hello,

I noticed that volume of FM radio cannot be lower than certain (too high for me) threshold. If I lower this it is muted. I tried various combinations of volume sliders in radio and system one but this value is constant.

Is there a possibility of any additional volume control?

TIA

m.

This subject is being discussed at bugs.maemo.org (started as a bug for Skype but expanded). Hopefully volume will be addressed soon.

Could you point me to the discussion?
When searching for bugs related to Skype or volume I found only Bug 1645 which is opposite - about systems *too low*.

You found the right bug. IMO there should be a single bug for volume in general, regardless of how the problem manifests. I apologize for speaking too broadly in my reply though.

My TV works the same way.. and the radio.. what they have in common is "digital" volume control. When it comes to volume controls all analog systems are definitely better. Actually "infinitely better" is probably the right term here..

@TA-t3

But this problem is only with FM radio. Media players have no problem with that.

vvaz, was that your comment in bug 1645? I apologized for the wrong assumption. :o
