Need help with scrobbling

Since I upgraded my n800 to OS2008, I can't get scrobbling to work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled maemo scrobbler, I have reset my lastfm password and re-entered it under control panel>extras>scrobbling, still doesn't work. I get the error, "Status: Could not connect".

It worked fine back on OS2007, so I'm stumped. Any suggestions?

I've narrowed down the problem. It's saving the wrong password when I look at Control Panel>Scrobbler settings. No matter what I do, deleting and retyping, uninstalling maemoscrobbler, and reinstalling, it still saves the wrong password. I can tell it's wrong because it's too long. Any help?
