I don't know if this question has been made earlier (i've searched but no results), but there is one thing I really miss in Canola, the FM Radio.
żIs it possible to include the FM Radio into Canola?

I suppose it will ... via a plugin and with the python module that was developped a few month ago (mediabox I think has it)

The module is called pyFMRadio, was developed for MediaBox and is available for other projects at pyfmradio.garage.maemo.org

Yeah, we also did work with the FM radio internally (for Nokia) a long time ago (but it was not in python), don't remember if it was the driver or just test, but anyways... we do have the code since before the n800 :) it's more about time :/ we are shorter and shorter on developer power due to other projects that we run at the same time : /
Sorry, it will be added, but first we need to kill the bugs people still list here (sometimes not finding music on first level, make sure installation goes smoothly and providing developers support)

Has there been any update on this? I'm asking because since I've started using Canola I've fallen in love with both the music & video handling, & the picture handling UI is the best I've seen so far on the tablet. The only thing missing for me would to be able to ditch the fmradio applet & just 'do it all' in Canola.
Good work guys!! Keep it up!! :)

I've not been keeping up with Canola much, but I thought a plug-in API had been released?
If so, couldn't anyone write the plug-in?
Or am I confused and slap-worthy?

Benson :
It was release (it's on the website) and you have a desktop - version for develpment and test, as well the source of the other plugins for references.
For the FM radio : we did the basic plugin test (one third party developer did it) but it was missing the UI. It's now under dev with some new guys joinnig the team, wait a little bit and it will be there :)
