Hi, I'm running a tool called MelodyCan for my Napster library and recently discovered 1 perfect feature - YouTube downloader! It allows to download YouTube videos from the site and convert to various video formats. Install the trial version from http://www.melodycan.com/ and go to your Internet Explorer. All you need is to load Youtube page with a video clip and click on "Save Youtube video" button or something like that.. and the clip will be saved to the desired location :)))

wow. earth-shattering.
The canola youtube plugin-in, released last week, already does this... and it's part of an established application for the ITs, and the developers are regular, longtime contributors to this board (and community).
Versus someone who has 1 post, thus far.
I'll stick with Canola, thanks.

Hi DeeJay, please enter in Canola forum, this issue has been explaned and discussed a lot of time.
Not trying to be rude in any ways, but in any forum the first good practice is really to do a small search before posting, because with that you are really able to solve your problem even faster.
* The option to choose folder is being implemented
* you can change the path by creating a simlink to another path. If you want to know how to do it, search in the canola forums.
Cheers,
Marcelo
