N800 stuck on white nokia screen

I left my device on overnight and it is now stuck on the white Nokia splash screen. It worked yesterday and I installed no new software.

The device will not shut down. I have held the power button for extended time. - If I pull the battery and wait and put it back in - it powers right back to the white screen.

If I pull the battery and plug in the charger - nothing happens. If I wiggle the tip of the charger - the blue light flashes a bit and goes out?

Periodically the white Nokia screen will go black and immeadiately come back in bright mode and then dim?

Completely locked out - please help.

Have you tried to boot w/o your SD Cards ?

Yes! I removed internal and external. I also tried with them in - all combinations???

I have removed the charger and am waiting for the battery to die?

Have you tried flashing it ?

my n800 tablet wont charge, when i try to charge it, all it do is show white nokia screen for 8 seconds and then go black
