can someone tell me how to fix the loading icon that shows up when opening an app? th

Can someone help me with this? When ever i open an app even though the little loading notice shows up, the little loading icon doesn't show up and it has efected my battry applet as well so even when i have it pluged in to the wall and i am using using the device, the icon doesn't show that it is charging and even though it is only a minor problem, it is driving me insane!!!!! :eek: can someone please tell me how i can resolve this problem? I would love some help.:o

That happens to me with Pidgin. I just hit the Swap key and select whatever program I'm running, and it goes away.

I don't know of an actual fix though. It's probably caused by the program's writing. If it is, it wouldn't be fun to fix.

I had same problem too lol,

run "gtk-update-icon-cache /usr/share/pixmaps" or something like that, do a search for gtk-update-icon-cache
