Camera Problem

"When i first received nokia n810 pda I installed the camera application. I successfully tested it once. Then I upgraded the firmware, reinstalled the camera application and since then I get the message: "camera unavailable ...". I reinstalled the original version of the firmware and the problem insisted. There is no /dev/video0 device file and if I create it manually with mknod, it doesn't work. Do you have any idea?"

Oh come on. Someone here should know how to help me and I know I am not the only one with this problem. The camera does not work for conversations or anything. Please help!

Have you tried having all apps closed before popping out the camera, then closing any apps that open automatically after popping out the camera, then launching the simple camera app?
