I ran into several problems lately:

1. Canola won't start, all of a sudden, but I managed to fixed that one. I started Canola in the apps menu, the pinwheel rotates for several seconds, then disappears, Canola doesn't start. So I tried starting it from the terminal, it complains about something in the prefs, so I went to the home directory and removed the whole .canola, started then reconfigured my settings. I think the last time I ran Canola before that Canola crashed.

2. I was using the player to break-in my new headphones last night, so I left it playing overnight on its own. Next morning when I went to check, the player stopped. I pressed the next file, starts playing, finishes that file, stops again. It actually goes to pause, and if I don't press next and just press play, the same file starts playing again. I tried restarting Canola, and it won't even lists my files correctly now. I went into the Media Folders to try and refresh the files, after I click it, I can't even get out of it.

OK, I think I was being stupid...

My physical memory was down to 1MB. I freed it up my moving my Maemo Maps, and it seems OK now. I'll see if it comes back.

Hi tony,

indeed we are trying to come up with a way to advice about the free memory on the internal drive.. But if you keep some space you will face no problem. We use that because we cannot rely on the external memory for the main files, ,and they got modified when you play..etc
