I have decided I will keep xkcd up permanently and, whenever I need a reference for certain instances, just scroll through it until I find what works.
Usually takes < 6 clicks. :D

My eldest (15) isn't prepared to get them, but my youngest (13) at least gets the concept of irony. So Mendel seems to be right.
I wonder if it can be taught...
Observation: the names camping at the bottom of this thread that have not changed in the past several minutes represent slackers clicking through comics.

Why not just use the online application? (it should be linked from your graticule page on the wiki)...
