I recently posted (http://www.internettablettalk.com/forums/showpost.php?p=189101&postcount=3) a reply which contained a binary attachment. I made the post from my N810, but had to jump through hoops due to unfortunate state of things...

Since OS2008 has only unzip readily available but no zip (with only cursory seaching, I admit), and since tar and gzip are available by default on every tablet, it would be nice to be able to attach those types of files as well.

Also, <100 kB for some types of files? 300-500 kB for .zip and .tar.gz would be a lot more useful limit. Ask for donations if you need more hard drive space or bandwidth!

Done. Increased limit to 500kb for .zip and added .tar and .gz. Thanks.

Thanks! You're heroes: Reggie, for upping size and adding types, and Jethro, for thinking to ask. (It's bothered me before, but I always push on through and then forget to ask about that kind of thing...)

Hi,

it would be nice to add .m3u playlists as an allowed attachment type.

I just posted a new thread (http://www.internettablettalk.com/forums/showthread.php?p=227669#post227669) with a few Internet live TV streams working on Nokia tablets. I would like to add them also as a playlist, in order to allow quick import into media player.

Thanks in advance.

Well, one option is to gzip the m3u, and upload that. I'm pretty certain the tablets ship with busybox gzip, so anyone can get it out.
