This looks like it would be great for long flights. Anyone familiar with it?

It's also sold under the name Acon. The 770 isn't listed as a supported device, but many Nokia phones are.
Does the 770 share the same power adapter plug with any of the listed Nokia phones?

No. None of the phones listed have the smaller "miniplug" that the 770 -- and most newer Nokia phones -- have.

In fact, the phone list looks quite old. None of the newer phones that have come out in the last 2-3 years are listed.

I'd be careful!

It should work with the CA-44 (http://www.nokiausa.com/nokia_accessories/item_details/1,2305,product:CA-44,00.html) adapter.

$70+ ouch! Will work with a split cable though. It should easily do a round-trip to Europe or a New York to Hawaii.

What is a 'split cable'?

It's a USB cable with three connectors that parallel each other. One connector goes to the 770, one to a powersupply and the third to the device. Somebody has a site that shows pictures of a commercial one--I made my own by splicing.
