Since upgrading to diablo, I can't view videos in full-screen mode on any of the video players on my N800. They work fine in regular mode, but in full-screen I get a colorful pixelated square in the upper left corner of the screen, and the rest of the screen is either green or black. The players I have are Canola2, MediaBox, MPlayer, and Media Player. Does anyone else have this problem or know what the fix might be? Thanks.

I am not seeing any problems with full screen video with mplayer, media player and mytube on diablo. Maybe something went wrong when you flashed diablo. Reflashing might help.

I had the same problem. It seems to have fixed itself with a restart.

Have you tried that?

Thanks for your replies. I re-flashed diablo and now the players are working. :D Now if I could only get the e-mail program to leave my deleted messages DELETED.

Did you install Android? Because its patched kernel breaks fullscreen video.

Yes, I did have Android on there. I deleted it before I discovered the video problem but I guess whatever traces of it on there kept causing it. Apparently when I re-flashed it took care of it.

That would be the kernel.

If anyone else hits it, you can just reflash the kernel from the stock image (or perhaps qwerty12's rotation-happy kernel).
