Thanks to this very helpful post (http://www.internettablettalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13789), I have successfully paired my stowaway ultra-slim keyboard. (I got a "pairing successful" message, the bluetooth list of devices lists ""Think Outside Keyboard", I am using a n800 with OS2008).
However, when I type with the paired keyboard no text comes out on my n800. I have tried Notes, Gmail and Xournal and still nothing comes out.
So, I tried re-pairing five times...still nothing.
Could someone please help me figure out why the keyboard doesn't work even though it seems to have paired correctly?
It may be paired, but is it currently connected?

When I look up the "Device details" the "Disconnect" button is not highlighted. When I press this unhighlighted button, the following warning message come up: "No active connection"
So, I think you are right, the keyboard is not connected.
Also, the bluetooth *B* in the status bar remains white, not blue.
admittedly naive newbie question: how do I connect the device after it is paired successfully? Do I need to connect the keyboard every time I want to use it?

I don't know about the iGo, but do you have "Generic 105-key PC" as the keyboard type in the Bluetooth keyboard settings?
The Bluetooth icon should turn blue when the keyboard is connected and usable. You shouldn't need to re-pair it. Just hit any key and the Bluetooth icon will turn blue.

Make sure you've done the "Ctrl + Fn (green)+ Fn (blue)" step on your keyboard to connect. you should see a blinking green light on the keyboard when it is on.
Good luck.

Like FierceDeityLink1 says, all I usually need to do to connect it is to hit a key and it connects within a few seconds.

It's working now. Big thanks to all of you.
I made one last re-pair. Going through all of the steps carefully until I made sure that the connection was held after the pairing was complete. When I saw that the bluetooth stayed blue and no "connection failed" message appeared, I new I was in business.
I hope to repay the favor to all of the commentors as I get into the swing of using the n800 and become more useful to the forum.
