Hi,
is there a list with "repositories" and necessary parameters for use with the new OS2006-Beta packetmanager (Programm Manager).

Till now i only know repository.maemo.org

which only has 4 packets (xterm, maemopad, 2 game-packets).

Are there any bigger repositorys?

Thanks

Point of clarity: the Application Manager only displays packages that are in the "user/*" categories, of which there are only the 4 in repositories.maemo.org, but there are also plenty of other packages (e.g. ssh) that are not in a "user/*" category. Most of these other packages, however, are not useful to users as graphical applications and are more useful to fill dependencies (or for command-line apps).

There are other repositories mentioned in the ApplicationCatalog2006, including ones for FBReader and Maemo Mapper.

Other ITT posts have also referenced repositories for gaim (see this page (http://maemo-hackers.org/wiki/MaemoGaim)) and for GPE PIM (see this post (http://www.internettablettalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2190)).

The french maemo site (www.maemofr.org) lists some. I'll copy and paste it here. Note that in the maemo repository, there are two, free and non-free.

Pour installer des applications avec Maemo 2.0, on peut utiliser des répertoires de paquets comme dans toutes les distributions à base de debian.

Voici la liste des répertoires actuellement accessibles :

- Adresse Web : http://maemo-hackers.org/apt
- Distribution : mistral
- Composants : main

- Adresse Web : http://repository.maemo.org
- Distribution : mistral-beta
- Composants : free
non-free
