Headphone Jack damaged - out of warranty

Hi,

My Nokia 770's headphone jack only works in the right ear. If I twirl around the headphone connector, I can eventually get it to play in both ears but if I stop putting pressure on it, it goes back to playing in one.

Is there any way I can fix this without having to send it back to Nokia for an out-of-warranty repair?

if it doesnt work with different buds, you could disassemble if your apt.
