Hi, I recently download debian in my IT and I'm so glad that it went all great. Though not that serious, now when the window appears where I have to enter password to unlock device when it gets locked, it is in the right corner in the top. Also, when I hit the organise button in the panel window to organise all the application locations and status bar from the control panel, the window where I can put the application in my desired folder appears in the same corner. Thats what I've found until now, maybe there are more. So, can someone please help me to get them appear back in their correct position, i.e, in the center of the screen. Thanks

I assume you mean Qole's Easy Debian? If so, this is pretty simple. Here is a snip from the first post in the "Easy Debian for Everyone" thread... (I recommend you read these type of release notes before installing experimental software...).
I install qwerty12's movable-windows hack for OS2008. You really need it for running Debian programs in OS2008. If you hate that, uninstall my .deb, or copy /etc/osso-af-init/matchbox.defs.orig back to matchbox.defs and everything will be the way it was before.
I should warn you though, if you do as suggested, most Debian apps will be unusable in Matchbox. And from a useability point of view Matchbox, surprisingly, is actually the best window manager because you can drag windows above the top of the screen. You lose this if you restore Matchbox's behavior to default...

Brent is correct. You can now drag all dialog boxes, etc.
But, I haven't found anything "unusable." Can you elaborate?

I just switched back to normal behaviour - it was driving me crazy since many apps in their dialog boxes didnt recognize allowed on-screen size. You need to switch windows behaviour from frr to sticky. Look for matchbox hacking/tweaking post on this forum - it's changing your local config file only.

Now I have the dialogmode=static and supermodal=yes in matchbox.defs and free and no in matchbox.defs.orig and its perfect and didn't find anything get unusable or may be i'm not into easy debian so much to realize. anyways thanks so much.

Try to use the GIMP without the moveable windows hack; it is nearly impossible. Now with the hack, it is a bit kludgy, but still useable.

Sorry -- thought you meant things were "unusable" with the hack in place (which is not my experience). Now, I get it. ;)
