can I use portmap and NFS on 06 OS without change kernel image?

Someone use with success this kernel image with Stable 06 OS?

At least nfs does not work for me (tried to use it for cpu transparency in scratchbox). After flashing that kernel image, the device could not boot constantly rebooting after showing 'NOKIA' logo.
