Adding a Locale [Archive] - maemo.org

Hello there Tableteers !

I would like to add locale 8859-8 so I can view Hebrew web sites. I tried to add some Hebrew fonts, but I can't find where to config the browser so they'll be used...

Any tips?

I want to know also.
I tried to use localedef but it failed to compile the new locale.

Hi, I have added zh_CN locale to the device successfully and now I can view chinese character in browser, rss feed reader, notes, file manager, and maemopad. :)

the fonts must not be bitmap font.
