Hi there,

On my 770 with OS 2006, i just can't seem to update the installable application list within the install manager anymore - since yesterday. Everytime I try, it fails. All I get is an error message and the logfile below:
osso-application-installer 4.22, UI version 1
W: GPG error: http://catalogue.tableteer.nokia.com mistral Release: The following signatures were invalid: BADSIG CBFC2BECC6903E72 Nokia Internet Tablet Archive Automatic Signing Key <integration@maemo.org>
W: GPG error: http://maemo-hackers.org mistral Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 3A312B21B9E81572
E: Failed to fetch http://repository.maemo.org/dists/mistral-beta/free/binary-armel/Packages.gz 404 Not Found [IP: 145.253.66.10 80]

What does that mean? And how to solve it?

Thanks a lot for your answers,
onlife

This may be due to a change that stumped me a bit too today when I was upgrading to 2006 and wanted to install OpenSSH. Try changing the info for http://repository.maemo.org from "mistral-beta" to "mistral" and then try and see if it works.

404 of course means file not found, ie you have tried to access some resource that isn't there - and of course, the 2006 OS is out of beta so removing the "beta" part makes sense.

Thanks a lot, that worked out for me!
Just removed the "-beta" and now updates won't fail anymore :)

So long,

Where did you find the logfile?

You can view the log in the Application Manager application under the menu item, Tools->Log...
