N810 wepkey too long

I just flashed my n810 to the latest OS (4.2008.36-5)...everything seems great but for some reason when I type in a 25-character wep key for my wifi connection it tells me that it's an invalid wep key length :confused: The odd thing, is that it it worked just fine with the same key before the flash, my laptop uses the same key, and the n810 connects to other wifi networks that don't need a key w/o a problem

has anyone seen this?

a 128 bit WEP key is always 26 Hex digits. I've never seen anything work with 25 digits.

I'd suggest checking the access point/router settings to verify the key.

well...now i feel like a complete idiot hehe. one of the characters was just missing and it threw me off since it was saying that it was too long already. thanks 4 your help
