Maemopad+ Problem

My problem with maemopad+ is that I make a new note in the text format, not checklist or sketch, and in this particular note I'm making groups of computer components I need to buy. In the note, it should look like this....

Desktop:
Case:
CPU:
Motherboard:
etc.
etc.

HTPC:
Case:
CPU:
etc.
etc.

Portable:
etc.
etc.
etc.


But after I type or copy and paste it all in, the spaces between each where i hit enter twice is gone and theres no spaces. Can anyone tell me if this can be fixed?

I got the same problem. This seems to be a 'bug' in the latest version. I remember earlier version was fine.

I get this behaviour even in the preloaded notes application, after saving and reloading, all the line spaces are gone. Maybe it's a general problem with the CR character or something??

pton, do you know how I can get the most recent previous version that doesnt exhibit this behavior?

I found a bit of a workaround, if you tap on the blank link and just hit space, when you save and reload, that blank line is still there.


EDIT: You have to hit space twice for each blank line.

Also, does anyone know if its possible to have it display the date of a new text note as mm/dd/yy, instead of yy/mm/dd?
