could not open default font 'fixed'

Hi all,

I am not a developer, but I want to setup the development environment (ref. http://www.maemo.org/platform/docs/tutorials/Maemo_tutorial.html#settingup); I encounter following problem on my Debian GNU/Linux system :

Startup the Xephyr with the script, outside the scratchbox:

jan@laptop:~$ ./start-xephyr.sh

Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'
jan@laptop:~$

I couldn't find a solution yet.

don't know the script and which SDK you are using, but here is described how to start the Xephyr:
