Hello,

I have been eagerly awaiting the source for Canola since... a long time ago. It was announced that it would be released in early February... and it's now mid-March. Is there a new date when it will be released? I want to work out better support for very large libraries (~200GB) - I use Canola with an N810 that's hooked up via USB to a USB HDD.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer.

I'm working right now on this issue. We've opened a bug in maemo.org bugzilla so people can keep track of it's status. Take a look:

https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3881

I received the "go ahead" yesterday, so it could take some time to set up things properly. When released, the code will be available on http://code.openbossa.org.

Cheers!

Talking about your issue, you may want to take a look on lightmediascanner (http://lms.garage.maemo.org) which is responsible for media scanning.
