Play Streaming videos with mYTube (Proof of Concept)

This is : How to play streaming Videos from Youtube with seeking enabled.
First , please laugh away my wrong and bad English (aka Japanglish).
I found mplayer-rc2 can play flv-video-streams with seeking.
so, I modded mYTube(one of the greatest apps, I think), wrote a simple script, and packed them.
yeah,streaming (not saving to a file) is the fastest way to play youtube.

1.it depends on mYTube (0.1.5-1).
2.download <mytube-streaming-plus_0.2_armel.deb (http://sites.google.com/site/tamanegimoyashi/home/tamanegi-files/mytube-streaming-plus_0.2_armel.deb)>(http://sites.google.com/site/tamanegimoyashi/home/tamanegi-files/mytube-streaming-plus_0.2_armel.deb?attredirects=0).
3.install it as root "dpkg -i mytube-streaming-plus_0.2_armel.deb"
4.start mYTube and tap <PlayST> instead of <play>.
5.a few seconds later , playback will start.
6.once you remove this package by "dpkg -r mytube-streaming-plus"
, mYTube returns to the original condition (all settings remain).

I'm sorry for defiling codes of mYTube.

I get this error when try to install with dpkg -i.. Would you know whats the issue..

dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of mytube-streaming-plus:
mytube-streaming-plus depends on mytube (= 0.1.5); however:
Version of mytube on system is 0.1.5-1.

I have checked my version of mYTube and the version is 0.1.5-1( as you mentioned in your post). However the deb seems to check for mYTube to be of version 0.1.5!

Any pointers to overcome this issue pls..:confused:

I love being able to save videos from youtube on my N800 using mytube. But I am only able to download and save around 1.5mb or about 30 seconds of the video. Is there a setting on the N800 which I could change to allow downloading and saving the entire video?

I too use MyTube on my N800. One of my saved files is 7:35 minutes and 17.9 mb. I have a 16gb SD card. Perhaps you are limited by the size of your memory card.

I've installed rc2, and when I tap PlayST, happen nothing!!! works normal with play, but If i tap PlayST, I have "name of the video"...5...4...3...2...1 and then nothing happens...
suggesitons?
