Please help me! I bought the 770 today, but i can't pair the table with my motorola v3x phone... the 770 tries to pair, i insert the code on my v3x, but after some seconds the tablet says that there is an error. The tablet is paired on the phone, but the phone is not on the tablet. Can you help me? Is there some patch to increase 770's compatibility with phones?

Shall I Upgrade The Phone's Firmware Or I Put The 2005 Os Again In The 770? Thanks! :)

I cannot get the 770 to pair with the V3x either - it's very annoying! Can't wait till my contract runs out so I can get rid of the V3x. This is the last straw after 9 months of a very shoddy phone...

I have the same problem with a Motorola v3i. It used to work with OS 2005 (so it seems to me the problem is not with the phone). I filed a bug, and maemo have just said it 'can't be reproduced' but there are lots of similar reports re Motorola phones on this forum.
I suppose it might help if more people reported the problem to maemo:

OK, problem fixed with a firmware update via the Motorola website (they call it software). I then needed to set up the connection as a packet data service using Connection Manager from the Control Panel (this seemed to be automatic on the 2005 OS)
