N900 alert based on email sender

Is there anyway to configure the N900 to make a different alert based on the email sender?

Side question, can you set a different sound for IM messages?

Also can you set different sound based on IM sender?

You could also file an enhancement request in bugs.maemo.org and vote for it. However it's unlikely that this will be implemented because providing a User Interface for these settings will be quite complicated. Elaborating *how* this should be set highly welcome.

So you never had a s60 device? It's done in the address book, adding a custom tone to a contact. Actually, it works in the s40 devices too.
