Hi! Everyone,

Who knows that how to install the new fonts into the device?
I tried to use X Terminal Emulator, but I do not know how to login as root.

Who can help me?

There is a page http://maemo.org/maemowiki/HowDoiBecomeRoot on the 770 Wiki that describes how to obtain root access.

PLEASE PLEASE be very careful though. You can seriously damage your 770 by doing something stupid as root.

The command to do that with is the xset command. The answer to many issues of how to manage the 770 is to understand the X Window System, or X, commands. They're not difficult, or complicated, but they are the key to unlocking the versatility of the 770 and any Linux device in the future.

I want to install some new fonts to let the device show the Asia characters .

I downloaded the flasher utility (MacOS X) for the Nokia 770. But I can not run it. The error information:
~ root# /Download/flasher --enable-rd-mode --reboot
-sh: /Download/flasher: Permission denied

What should I do?
