If all sings hold true (remembering my N810 which was released 20.10.2007 and I got it 20.12.2007), the time is drawing near :). Meaning that 28.8.2009 was the release and the October's days are running out.

I at least hope so.

Also I have been looking into the Bug Jar posts on my Google Reader and some bugs, resolved as fixed, have dropped the FiF (Fixed in Fremantle) notation.

Correct, N810 is micro, just as the N900 is (you actually get the same CA-101 cable).

yes no lies, however i ordered 2 n900 from nokiausa.com, today i only noticed $706 decreasing on my CC acc. thats only for 1 n900. the first time i ordered is 29 sept, and the second one is on 1st oct.
the reason i ordered two is, one of my friend had a web error from nokiausa website. so i ordered for him.
and today i keep checking my order status from nokiausa.com its still said in progress, hopefully by noon it will change *fingercross*

You have to except that and cooperate with these guys too. Not just turning your head in other direction and closing their threads. Because that will not work. You need them and they need you. Every developer needs somebody to use his app/widget, whatever, and every average customer need app/widget etc. And how does number of posts matter?! If "thanks" matters, incude "no thanks" too, for people who can't behave.

N900 uses the micro usb, also I emailed and asked mimo if it would work with the N900 and they said no. The monitor gets it's power from what ever device it's plugged into, so if the mimo was plugged into your N900 the battery would probably drain in like ten minutes.

I originally pre-ordered my phone with nokiausa.com but had to cancel it cuz i heard they usually ship the phone after the other retailers. so i went and bought the phone from buy.com. i ordered it beginning of october. the past 6 days, i called them every single day just to make sure that they will ship it soon. i had talked to 5 different reps and they told me that it will be released on october 22. so of course just to make sure that they give me the same date, i called them everyday. But today when I called them the rep told me that the release date was pushed to November 22! i was shocked and couldn't believe it. So I waited for 3 hours and called them back to make sure she was giving me the right info. Unfortunately they both said November 22. Since I want to get the phone right away, I went back to Nokiausa and ask them if I order today will I get the phone at the end of October as stated on their website. here's the conversation i had with them.

I am in Chicago and signed up for an N900 launch party/demo on November 2. :) More details on the event to follow. It makes me think that will be the Chicago release date. N97 came to the flagship store before my pre-order would be released. Nokia screwed up my order soooooo badly, I canceled my order. Lucky for me. I think that the N900 will be the start of a really disruptive piece of technology.

Sorry for those of you who are waiting. :mad: I remember the feeling and it sucks. Nokia would do well to build it's brand by adding a little transparency on shipping dates. It would add to the buzz. Apache is a web page server. So you could crank up Apache on your phone and serve Spinnukur's bestiality page direct from your phone while you're trying to break the ice on that first date with whatever species you like to hang with. They can click on a AVI file showing various animal movies. I'm thinkin' you might have some use for that!

Apache also can be used to DL files over HTTP. FTP is just another way to DL or UL files quick and dirty. These can be services that can be easily stopped and started on the fly. With a desktop widget I'm thinking for the start/stop script.

DYNDNS so that you just hand out N900.dyndns.org instead of having to figure out your IP address all the time. DYNDNS has a lot of domains to pick from. Like N900.devalias.org and a host of others. I'd get in now before all the N900s are taken!

The one that is on the website there that you can add on. Sorry, I tend to round #s. The 49.99 plan is the $50 plan I was mentioning. But it seems you can't buy it seperate from the device without going through their own official website which quotes $78 for other devices. So I was wondering if that's Amazon unique sale.

Otherwise we would all just buy the n900 from Newegg + the $50 warranty from SquareTrade via Amazon.

N900 uses the micro usb, also I emailed and asked mimo if it would work with the N900 and they said no. The monitor gets it's power from what ever device it's plugged into, so if the mimo was plugged into your N900 the battery would probably drain in like ten minutes.

Havent gotten any charge from amazon, but I did just now see n900 on newegg for 559.99 with free 3 days shipping and newegg has a release date of 11/14/09.

I ordered through Nokia USA otherwise I would cancel any other order through any other group and order through Newegg. I have never had anything but bad experiences with buy.com and Amazon are simply fronting for a 3rd party.

Hopefully they are delivering QWERTZ devices and not QWERTY like described in their shop. (I'm from Austria) If they are QWERTZ and this is true I'll preorder from their shop too :D
