Nokia Spain to compensate for the delay, giving away a portable battery DC-11 who hold the reservation.

In Spanish : http://todomaemo.com/nokia-se-disculpa-por-el-retraso-del-n900-con-regalo-incluido/

Is Nokia USA or Amazon doing the same???

As I have also answered in the blog you are pointing to, this is not exactly a present for those who hold the reservation.

Let me explain: The Nokia online shop has a policy by which they not getting to send the reserved product to the costumer in a maximum of 60 days, they force theirselves into some kind of compensation.

So this "present" is only for people that reserved N900 more than 60 days ago, not for everyone holding the reservation.

Well amazon has the 50 usd rebate via mail in. You get a nokia visa card worth 50 usd.

Brings the phone down to $505.xx

I have mine pre-ordered from Amazon so I will wait and hope the price drops even more.
