View Full Version : promotion code for nokia.de?
Hi,
as I read in a few threads, there are promotion codes at least for nokia.it.
Does anybody know a promotion code for nokia.de as well?
Regards,

I'm Italian but I'm interested in a UK keyboard layout (the Italian one is too bad...), what about for a promotion code in nokia.co.uk?

The preorder page for the N900 says "Dieses Produkt ist von jeglichen Rabattaktionen ausgeschlossen.".
Sad to see that in the US you can get the N900 from Amazon for 480$: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=383433&postcount=2311

As far as I know Amazon US does not ship in Italy (and in Europe in general electronics products), moreover I'm not sure about the taxes I have to apply to the price reported. Does anyone have experience in buying from an "affidable" UK online shop? What about taxes? Is there a better place other than nokia.co.uk?
P.S.: smage if you need to contact me send me a mail to berserker_r at hotmail dot com I'd like to share informations with you about this :)

That's too bad! Seems like we have to pay the highest price for the N900...

If you can wait some longer there are cheaper alternatives here in germany, so you can at least save 100,- Euro

That's right. I have seen it already at geizhals.at/de. There are shops selling it for 500 EUR and less.
A order at nokia.de would have been nice, but I will wait until other shops will also have it.

As for the geizhals.de shops i get a bit bad feeling. Some days ago there were shops with estimated shipping date "end November" or "27. November" (IIRC), but now more and more go to "January 2010". I get the feeling nokia first wants to sell with their expensive price for around 2 month, and not like my first impressions for around a week :(
btw... any of you guys recently contacted nokia germany and asked for a realistic release date? Or are they still sticking with 25/11/2009?

Hmm, what is an European QWERTY version? Is this the UK version?
BTW: Does anybody know if it is possible to get the German Umlaute using an onscreen popup? I think I read somewhere that you can use a special key combination to get a popup where you can select the desired accent?
I'm not sure how much I would need the 4 arrow keys ATM.

No point getting it from NOSUK if you're Italian mate..they only ship to billing address and I don't think they'll do delivery anywhere outside the UK.
